As we departed Vunda Marina a wonderful crowd of Fijians complete with guitar serenaded us off - Vicky and Di pose with the band - the have great singing and music - so friendly.

 We have reached the stage now when really quite a few yachts in our group are leaving - and it is sad to say farewell to new friends with whom one has sailed sometimes through tough winds and weather and had celebrations of arrival in strange anchorages and ports. These are our Austrian friends Hubert and his wife Margit who have decided to call it a day and haul up their yacht here in Fiji and return in a years time. Their niece, Sylvia,who has been sailing with them (left of picture) has transferred to another recast to continue the expedition.

 There is some fine coral to see just off the pier at Musket Cove and we enjoyed the snorkelling.
