Nick arrived safely last night, and this morning we both got weaving early, Nick to the the depot de pain for breakfast fodder, and then to Leclerc to get the supplies we needed.
Roger got the car back to Hertz in Lorient, then the bus out to Kenevel and we both arrived at the same time, then we filled with water and got the boat ready for sea.
We left at about quarter past ten, and motorsailed into a headwind - only about 3 kts which gradually built until we got to the Iles Glenans where it became a solid 15  to 17 knots (as forecast).
We had about 3 hours of head butting a short chop until we got to Pointe de Penmarc'H where we were at last able to bear away and had a lovely 3 hour sail to this pretty little anchorage just outside  Audierne.

The visitors buoys were fullish with large boats, and when Nick put us neatly onto a buoy a large Halberg Rassy told us that that was not a good idea as the previous boat had hit him while on the mooring...

We took the hint and decided that we would anchor, as we have a bit more privacy and are not cheek by jowl with several other Brits.

We saw dozens of boats today - the season has definitely started and the harbours are filling up, a good time to be exiting Brittanny.

Tomorrow an early start to try and get to L'Aber'Wrac by the evening - with the Raz de Sein and the Chenal de Four to overcome!.

Today was a lovely day and it was great to have Nick on board - too long since the last time!
