Teg's birthday today - only 30. Bottle of bubbly in the fridge ready to go.
We never did get those invitations out but we are approx 25N 20W if you want
to pop down and join us. Her present will be a fresh tuna if I get lucky.

We managed to leave Lanzarote with no hitches on 2 Dec after a few days
calming down following our hectic departure from work and home. Teg did an
all day clinic on the day we left for Gatwick so there was no time to
reflect. We are now carrying more food than Bob Geldof's private plane so
prepare for tinned handouts on our return.

Since then we have been lucky with the wind with predominant northeasterlies
pushing us down towards the trade wind belt. It gets warmer by the day and
long trousers are being put away. Sea temp is now 24C. We were visited by a
huge pod of dolphins yesterday. We can only presume they came to help me go
up the mast to retrieve a genoa halyard after the shackle had parted (on of
the few bits that hadn't been replaced). Wind is now on the light side so
making steady but slow progress. We haven't had to motor yet.

The penny whistle and the harmonica both made it on deck today and the
foredeck is being used as a gym for those in need of toning up. I manged a
sun sight today, which was the first for years , and managed to place us in
the right hemisphere. This is rewarding.

We are both well and relaxing into ourt new pace of life - phew.

More soon(ish)!
