At 2054 UTC at 13:58.884N 031:04.655W we crossed the the track of our trans-Atlantic crossing made on 1 December 2010 and competed our circumnavigation.  Now all we have to do is get somewhere to celebrate.

Our actual circumnavigation has covered 43,626nm and since leaving the Royal Harwich Yacht Club on 4 July 2010 we have covered 47,834nm during which we have visited 41 countries.

Other than that excitement, which took place during our late and non-alcoholic sun downers, it has been a very grey day with a 3.5 metre swell more or less on the nose and wind in the 20 to 30 knot region.  For the sixth full day we have been sailing at 45 degrees to the wind which by happenchance is our current rhumb line course.  We expect the wind to clock, i.e. veer, over the next 2-3 days and as it does we will follow it around so that we point more directly at the Azores.
