(The first posting of this diary entry had an typo in the latitude which will have resulted in an incorrect position being plotted.  This will be removed when we next have an internet connection)

We still make good progress assisted by the current.  Today the sailing has been very downwind which makes for difficulties in setting sails and keeping them filled when the wind goes light.  During one of our sail setting exercises I noticed that two seams in the leach of the mainsail were starting to come apart.  Motoring into the wind allowed us to get the mainsail down and into the cockpit before the seam split right across.  We should be able to repair it on board.  For the time being and until that is done and hoisted we are running under poled out genoa only.  To really improve the shining hour at around 1600 it started to drizzle, interspersed with showers.  Our hardtop and full enclosure do an excellent job in keeping us dry.  Nevertheless, all is well on board as we pursue our course across this particularly empty bit of ocean.
