We continue to make reasonable progress under poled out genoa with the wind, as forecast, lightening which meant that at the end of the 24 hours our hourly rate was falling with further decreases to go.

The major issue of the day was the water maker failing again.  The high pressure pump appears to be working but the system suddenly lost pressure whilst working and now refuses to pressurise.. I have sent an email to Dessalator asking for further advice but of course it is Saturday s no answer for two days.  In the meantime, we are on to water conservation measures.  It is amazing how little water you can use when you try.
