Rodrigues provides free of charge docking against the wall of the commercial harbour which requires careful use of fender boards but with generally offshore wind provided a secure and comfortable berth.

When the supply ship was due however we emptied out whilst it manoeuvred and then returned to the basin and anchored off during its two day stay, Then it was everyone back on the wall.
