Date                1445 (UTC+8) Saturday 12 December 2015

Distance run    In 3hrs 00mins 20.6nm over the ground, 20.9nm though the water

And then we moved a further mile which took us 4 miles

Trip total         453nm over the ground, 434nm through the water

Not so far to go today as we intend to anchor in the south side of the Langkawi Islands before going on to a marina berth, if we can find one, on Sunday.  We first anchored off Telok Dayang Bunting, where we wished to visit the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden.  This gets very busy during the day with tourist boats from Langkawi.  We therefore had a trip around until we found a fabulous anchorage at Gabang Darat in the channel between the cliffs of two islands and a mile from the landing for the Lake.  Taking advice from other cruisers, we intend to visit the Lake first thing in the morning before the tripper boats arrive.

Hauling nets – trying to work out which way it was moving was a challenge
