Time from Havannah Harbour – 8.5hrs

It was a great sail once the wind filled in with fine views of text book volcanic islands.

Our original destination was an overnight anchorage on Emae but having reached there in good time we decided to press on the Revelieu Bay on Epi a further 24 miles. With a little help from the engine we achieved our destination half an hour before last light, joining the three other yachts anchored just off the river and in the lee of the reef. Some swell crept around the reef but nowhere near as badly as other places we have encountered.
