A day at rest in Koro provided the opportunity to get out the inflatable paddle boards

Stuart quickly found his balance and was off at a great rate with only the occasional tumble

In the evening we went ashore to the resort bar for a pre-dinner drink and met Gary, the South African who we had met in Hiva Oa in the Marquesas with his two sons where they were doing work on boats in return for food and dollars, they definitely being economic migrants.  They had eventually made it to Fiji and it was on Koro that they had two plots of land; small world, it was good to see him and find out that they had made their goal safely
