We spent a very pleasant couple of days with Chris and Bill sharing hospitality and a great evening at a friend’s barbecue to which we were kindly invited.  We also took the opportunity to have the carburettor on the outboard cleaned which seemed to solve the problem, but with the benefit of hindsight not very long.

As mentioned in the previous entry the depth in the entrance to Queens Creek is fairly marginal for us so we needed to get out at 1515 at high water.  This did not give us enough time to get to our next destination of Solomons Island in daylight so we put into the wonderfully named Great Wicomoco River and anchored behind Sandy Point.
