Days Run -      29nm over the ground

It is certainly further by water from Little Creek to Pilot House than it is by road.  For once it was not raining and after purchasing some 800 L of diesel, which even at United States prices produces an interesting bill, we motored around into the Elizabeth River and into what has become a very familiar berth courtesy of Gary and Greta at Pilot House.  They definitely appeared to be collecting OCC boats as our arrival brought the total up to 4.

No “holiday” would be complete without a picture of our hotel.  This is the Best Western that we have stayed in twice whilst the boat has been out of the water.  It certainly has views over the water.
