Pornichet

We arrived after 9 hrs sailing to Pornichet, at night

There e
is not much to comment. Good sailing, nice day.

The hIgh of our journey was our first catch. A 3 kg white tuna! It took 10 mins to reel the fish in. Fantastic feeling to have caught your own food + save euro 20 on a meal!!

Before that I saw 2 dolphins while being at the bow but they disappeared immediately.

Very relaxing journey.

At the marina there was no available berth so we ended up next to refuel pumps. Not a problem since it was so late(2300 hsor later) that no one really bothered.

We prepared ourselves to leave early in the morning, next destination Les Sables d' Olonne, home of the Vendee Global Race, Ellen Mc Arthurs deja vou.

I am very excited to go to what is the heart of the French sailing industry.

I have vivid memories of Ellen McArthur first book where she described Les Sables very well. There is always this 'extra' about places with such history.
Sean gave the book and I could not stopped reading it.
