Camarinas

After having been delayed in Galicia for so many days our plan was to sail for a week to make Lisbon as soon as possible.
We are late on our schedule and we needed to make the 600 nautical miles quick.
We left Coruna early in the morning towards Camarinas, 60 NM west.
There is a little town, Muxia, where the government built a new marina but never commissioned(6 years already) Among sailors we got the gossip that you can go there and not pay anything, so we did!
Arrived late afternoon and we met there many of our friends who we ahd met in LaCoruna.

Spent only one day/night but luckily it was a festive day, meaning town party for the children(little fair and plenty of games for them)

Galicia is well know by its seafood. Octopus being the best in the world. Guesswhat, specially me, have been eating on a daily basis for the last 10 days?Yes you guess right, OCTOPUS!!!!!!! Not to make much shane in life style, we ate in very rustic accommodation boiled octopus( for you to have an idea before it get cooked it weighs 10 kg or more)We topped it with local produce red wine, actually more a bare foot syrup drink!!Miriam still believes it was octopus red ink and not wine…..
Nevertheless we had great time. Amazing party for the locals, but problem it lasted till 0800 am next day(loud music) and they finished it with fireworks.
None of us could sleep much.
