A mighty splash announced Si’s decision for a pre-breakfast dip. By the time I had got myself up on deck however he was back onboard so I saved my swim for later in the morning. I was SO glad there were no dealings with the watermaker today and we had a lazy morning. How good it was to see Si unwinding with his book as I updated the blog. We saw so many turtles swimming round the boat today. J They feed on the grasses on the seabed but unfortunately are camera shy and dive before I can focus.

The fab day continued and after lunch Si took himself off for an afternoon snooze which gave me a chance to open my paint box for the second time this trip! Needless to say I opened the instruction book very near the beginning and spent a fab few hours practicing colour washes and painting three extremely amateurish pictures. J  Si’s holiday hobby is his guitar and he got it out of the case for the first time. It was then he discovered a couple of discs missing from the course I bought him so he will only be able to practice that when we have shore power to run his thirsty old laptop which has it all installed. At least he has a couple of books he can work through as well.

We abandoned plans to go ashore today and read for the rest of the day having pasta for supper before more reading in bed. A whole day with almost no stress: Oh Bliss!
