06:30 37:30.219N 13:04.671E Capo Bianco Lifted anchor and set a SE course to resume the remaining 32.6 nm passage east to Licata. Winds are variable in direction and strength. Genny was out then in, then out several times before we gave up. Motoring with a SOG of 7 kts on a CSE of 125 degrees we head into a strong sun.

Noon 37:23.32N 13:16.99E Cala west of Licata. A virtual repeat of yesterday a couple of miles short of Licata we identify this protected bay where we agree it would be nice to go into and anchor for a few hours for lunch and a swim. The bay houses a small resort which typically blares out loud music and spurns pedalos that come out to inspect us.

After a lunch of courgettes and left over quiche we go for a snorkel and to cool off. A hot day. We leave the bay at 15:30 and make our way to Licata marina. 16:30 37:05.798N 13:56.718E, Licata Marina, SE Sicily I arrange with marina to leave Bootlegger here whilst we return home for period and subsequently pay for a month in advance €1250 ( £1078 or £36 per day).
