The Chilean government has been closed since Thursday in protest prior to the national elections. Hopefully tomorrow (Monday) they will go back to work. If they do, we will receive our customs clearance, go to the Navy and get our Zarpe (exit papers) and off we go on our trip to Panama. The weather forecast looks favorable with southerly winds light on Monday, then filling in over the next week. We are looking forward to some great downwind sailing on our way north. John, Dave and I have been ready for a few days and plan on updating this blog every few days. Hope you enjoy riding along with us. Hope we have lots of fish to brag about. Dale John and Dave |
