Today, like yesterday, is a beautiful sunny day in the Atlantic. Winds are light at 12kts from NNW and the spinnaker is out.
To be conservative we took the spinnaker down at sunset and since the winds diminished to a low 9 kts,
we did motored sailed until sunrise when the spinnaker was out again and the engine off.
Now wind varies from 10 to 14 kts and with 14 kts we reach a maximum speed of about 7.5kts.
Because of the last few days our day trip average has been constantly decreasing (see plot below),
our ETA is moving to the late part of Friday. Hopefully we will be able keep this average so to don't have a night landfall.

After our light dinner based on salami, French baguette and a good bottle of Rioja while we were about to start prepare for the night watch ritual
(i.e. Princess Isa go to bed and the "men" stay on watch 3:3:2:2) a late eater small size Mahi-Mahi (#3 @ 26") decided to offered himself for today lunch.
Speaking of fish, this morning the lure was changed from the very successful yellow-green squid-type to a more orange-brown with the aim to catch a black fin tuna for some sashimi.
However at 10:55 am a Mahi-Mahi (#4 @ 31") decided that also a orange-brown lure looks good for him.
Isa, who was desperately looking forward to find something to do other than reading her book and looking at the beautiful blue water,
took on the job of cleaning the fish under the close supervision and detailed instructions of David.
She managed to do an excellent job with abundance of blood (luckily from the fish) splashes on the deck and herself.

This morning cook David made a delicious and superbly prepared breakfast based on: Basami rice with Soy sauce, scrambled eggs with cayenne pepper and rosemary.
After such a good job we decided to assign him also the task prepare the Mahi-Mahi #3 for lunch. We will report on that tomorrow.
