Last night we had few squall and winds increased to about 28-30 kts for few minutes.
All was good and the boat handled very well.
But unfortunately few hours later a rip in the old mainsail open at the 1st reef height.
This is the same old mainsail that had rip while sailing to the Caribbean in 2016 with Riccardo.
We had fixed and we were using for "coastal" cruising, while using a new mainsail for passages.
It would have been prudent to make the change before leaving Antigua, but since the "reduce" distance of the passage
and the work involved in changing a mainsail, we had skipped for this time.
