Yesterday was a "Champagne sailing day": blue sky 15 kts of wind on a beam reach,
a visit from a large pod of Dolphin and later also a whale who luckily stay away from the boat.
The night sailing was smooth and quiet with a beautiful dark sky full of stars.
However this morning the sky is covered with clouds and the wind increased to 20 kts
making a bit of rougher sailing. Following the right side of the eddy and trying to gain East Longitude we are keeping a reach almost close-hull course making the boat heeling and life on board not as comfortable as yesterday.
This morning while sailing at 7 kts we caught a nice Mahi-Mahi, reefed the jib and started to bring the fish closer,
but when it was about 30 yards from the boat and I started to walk to the leeward side with the fishing rod,
the fish was able to get away. So we are still fish-less.
