We had a great sail for the 50 miles to Sines and arrived
early evening in the marina.
Sines is a very small town high above the bay with a small
but beautifully manicured beach.
Monday was very industrious, scrubbing the teak and cleaning
the boat and catching up with washing and drying before leaving to anchor in
the bay, only a few metres away.
We had a lovely dinner in the evening on Roy
and Sallys’ boat ‘Solange’ before a fairly early night ready
for the 90 mile trip to Lagos
the next morning.
