Our special guests have taken up their duties and are performing well.
We have also achieved our planned rendezvous with yacht ‘Curlew’ owned by our very good friends Alison and Nigel.
Curlew also have VIP crew,
what a lovely surprise to have Lynn and Lee join us all.
We forgive them for jumping ship this year !
Nigel took us all for dinner at George’s in Nidri and we caught up with everyone’s news.
The next day we sailed over to island of Cephalonia and found a lovely quiet bay at Limani with just one little taverna nestled in the trees.
We had a swim to shore however it was too rocky to get ashore and so Captain Mark launched the dinghy to go and make a reservation in the taverna for dinner.
There were just the 8 of us in the restaurant, they were very glad of our company !
A gentle sail the following morning in convoy with ‘Curlew’ to Sami.
Mark on the bow doing some weird dancing as we passed our friends.
I think he needs more ‘Flossing’ practise Riley !
We had planned to anchor off in Sami but the water is very chopped up outside the harbour walls.
So, contrary to usual, we took a mooring stern to the quay. I’m not sure Curlew were too impressed as we gleaned all their information then overtook them and moored where they were headed.
All good as there was plenty of room for us both !
