Another great day sailing all 115 miles to Cascais, where we anchored in the bay just before midnight.

It had been a lovely day with dolphins playing at the bow during the morning and dinner in the cockpit watching the sunset.

As we came into the bay last night, wrapped up in our waterproof jackets, the temperature changed almost instantly and we could feel the warm breeze blowing off the land.

At midnight it was warmer outside than inside the boat !

This morning we have woken to glorious sunshine and views of a very pretty town with lots of palm trees.

Some of our neighbours have taken an early morning dip in the sea, I have put my toes in but it still feels cold to me, so we settled for breakfast in the sun !

Today we are going ashore to wander around Cascais and tomorrow we plan to visit Lisbon for the day.

Lots of photos – once we find an internet café !
