We left Spinalonga yesterday and sailed, well motored mainly, overnight to the Island of Idhra around 50 Miles South of Athens.

It was good to make up some lost ground and get back on schedule for arriving in Prevaza.

We are anchored in Mandraki Bay which is very pretty and lovely for swimming however it is a bit small and there is constant movement of yachts both leaving and arriving to anchor.

I guess we are now in Charter territory and also close to Athens and its surrounding cruising grounds.

So the plan is to have a swim, a shower, some lunch and move 20 miles around the corner to the Island of Poros where there are many larger anchorages.

An early night tonight to catch up with some sleep and then moving on to take a look at the Island of Aigina, close to Athens before heading for the anchorage at the entrance to the Corinth Canal ready for transiting the following morning.

Another Canal – have we been through them all now ?
