All our visitors to Mykonos
have come and gone, where does the time go ?
Thank you guys for coming to see us, we have had a great
time sharing your holidays.
So, time to say goodbye to Mykonos, next stop Naxos just 20 miles South.
A great downwind sail with just the genoa out, speeding
along at 7.5 knots, I had forgotten how nice it is to be downwind sailing, it
certainly bought back memories !
We gave the small marina a miss and anchored just inside the
breakwater, opposite the busy ferry dock and with a great view of the
unfinished ‘Temple
of Apollo’
In the other direction we had a great view of the town
nestled at the base of the mountains.
Ferries arrived continuously all day long with hoards of
people and vehicles loading and unloading.
We can only think that there are a lot of tourists island
hopping for their holidays.
