This morning we woke to a pretty sunrise and away from the top of the horseshoe-shaped Koh Lipe, we saw Langkawi ahead.

We motored on in windless conditions to the Thai / Malaysian border.

We enjoyed a game of backgammon in total peace but no more than a second after I had finished uttering my joy at no FADS, floats or fisherman than there we were – entering a ‘being laid as we watched’ FAD field.....groan.

Twenty nine point eight miles and the final turn before the marina, a brahminy kite in welcome. The lady on the radio said “port side tie, bow in................Oh your slot A31” We thanked her and headed in. The little chap was there with his bike trying to direct us to A21, starboard tie. I pointed, he looked confused and reaching for his radio, listened and leapt on his bike.
Our Pangkor haul out has been delayed by five days due to very low tides. Nothing for it then but to use the time for some chores, jobs and pool time.
