To Koh
Hong
After exploring Koh Panak we settled to begin a long hop of four miles,
leaving as the tour boats were descending with
hundreds of kayakers.
We slipped in to
the ‘heavy’ traffic.........
Each koh (or island) looks like a shaggy tablecloth at the
bottom where erosion has formed so many overhangs.
Each has a different shape and size.
Such unique
topography.
This area is part of the Ao Phang-Nga National Park set up in 1981, covering four
hundred square kilometres.
Over forty two large and small
islands, all shapes and sizes.
Very difficult to judge the heights
but each rock soars vertically from the water (four
to ten metres below us).
The current swirls around the islands.
The view
opposite our chosen anchor spot.
Todays little
hop.
Beez
Neez as we saw her later on our spuddle.
