Still amazed at being anchored near a reef system, surrounded by ocean thousands of metres deep, we spuddled from Beez Neez in her fourteen metres over to a grassy area not far away. We found a sandy/grassy bit to drop Baby Beez anchor and plopped in for our snorkel. The grass was lush and green dotted with clumps of things to explore.

Clams and worms were abundant.

Lovely to see a green and brown crinoid or feather star – the most ancient of echinoderms. These animals have changed little according to fossil records.
