Karang Kaledupa Snorkel Still amazed at being anchored near a reef
system, surrounded by ocean thousands of metres deep, we spuddled from Beez Neez in her fourteen metres over to a grassy
area not far away. We found a sandy/grassy bit to drop Baby Beez anchor
and plopped in for our snorkel. The grass was lush and green dotted with clumps of things to explore.
A giant
clam.
Clams and worms
were abundant.
Lovely to see a green and brown crinoid or
feather star – the most ancient of echinoderms. These
animals have changed little according to fossil records.
The weird, the wonderful and the rest.
ALL IN ALL A MASSIVE
AREA
AMAZING TO BE ANCHORED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE
OCEAN |
