After our Dove Lake circuit we got on the bus back to the Interpretation Centre. We hobbled into the put-you-up ‘cinema’, Bear was seen to nod a few times as we watched through a couple of short films about the park. Then it was time to do what we said we would – do the Forest Walk. The view across the way was lovely.

Getting the tired feet going was certainly a challenge but at least it was flat. Soon we were in a forested world screening everything else out.

We had lots of information labels to read.

We then had a stretch of boardwalk out in the open.

On one side we seemed to be on the level, on the other side we were high up level with the canopy.

So many different trees.

We took the time to take a breather and take more pictures.

A few minutes after we got going again, colour us happy, a very big bulldozer of the bush.

Back past the Cascades, then we took ourselves back to camp for a quiet game or two.
