On the sign it says: The Enchanted Walk is one of Tasmania’s Sixty Great Short Walks. After the last couple of long bimbles and a late night animal spotting, we needed something gentle to start the day.

Colour me happy, a flat path with button grass on one side and a babbling brook on the other.

We followed the path which became a boardwalk. Off to the side was a detour to a tunnel for small persons, on each side were lovely guides showing the animals they may see along the way.

A tiny pademelon ahead of us hopped to the side and waited until we got his picture.

Our walk ended at Cascade Falls, a grand finale to our time at the Cradle Mountain National Park.

ALL IN ALL A GENTLE START TO THE DAY
