Snorkelling Off the Sandspit at the Blue Lagoon

Ever since we arrived at the Blue Lagoon we have said that we must snorkel off the sandspit before we leave, today we decided was the day as the plan is to leave tomorrow morning. Chores and jobs, a visit from the Veg Man and here we are in the afternoon. The target was the marker post.

Baby Beez parked on the sandspit, we paddled out into the shallows, deep water in a few strides. The current to the left of us, around the point was extraordinary, we’ll stick to the right until it’s time to have some fun riding like driftwood.

We began in deep water, out in forty feet or so the fish got surprisingly big.
