After the park lots of business in the paddling pool.

Meanwhile Jacob was watering the garden.

What really touched us was when Jacob overfilled his watering can, Oscar immediately leapt out of the pool and emptied half the can, when he knew it was manageable he handed it back. We know sometimes it doesn’t always work this way but for now we saw an act of wonderful brotherly love.

Martin took over from Oscar when things got a little tricky. I just loved the chap with the massive fist. Grandma having fun. At one point there was a surprised “Oh, you’ve made it to the next level.” All we could think was someone is lucky to have two sons – however – we feel very sure that daughters would have been manipulated into loving Skylanders, train sets and Risk.

Time to rough it up with grandpa before bath time. As soon as the boys were off to bed we made a run for it. So hard. Tears as I fled and a very quiet grandpa.
