To Naonao Island, Raiatea
 Silhouette and Irie II came in just after
dark last night. Alan popped over this morning, so nice to see him. He was off
to have his botanical tour with James and we left this lovely bay to go
south.
 I didn’t ask what
Bear was up to.........but clearly something to do
with his Bad Elf
 I just took in the
scenery................
  ..........a new
position – back to the original
one..........
 .....more
scenery for me then.......
 A group of three tiny
dwellings.
 A pearl
farm to our left.
 Taputapuatea
to our right, a sacred marae of
the ancestors.
 A pretty
village.
  The south of the
island and Millennium over our
shoulder.
 Naonao
Island, every bit the South Pacific of our dreams.
 Certainly a shack
with an amazing view.
 The corner of the
island - our target place to anchor.
 Ahead of us
shallows, coral making the water a lovely blue.
  Nestled.
 The lady of the
island comes to wave in greeting.
 I watch a regional
meeting, fishing the topic.
 I admire a
dinghy, yeah right.......
 Meeting over, time
for a paddle. A spuddle to the surf
methinks, tomorrow. OK.
 Over to John and Sukanya for a game of Mexican Train Dominoes. Bear
not only beat us, he trounced us, winning eight of the thirteen games.
Huh.
