Today at about 2:40 pm local time, we passed the 1000 nautical miles left mark, at the moment from where we are, there are 996 nautical miles to go. Yeay!
Also, today, as the law of the ocean and the law of gravity, the leg of ham which has endured lots of rock and rolling sittin on the galley counter, without falling, was finally knocked down by a ferocious rolling wave that hit Bandido on the port side. The leg will now be sliced into pieced and packed away safely into the fridge. Our current heading is 230 degrees, and yes you guessed it, we are southwest bound. Among the amenities that one enjoys aboard Bandido is the oh so wonderful Air Conditioning. It is nice to cool off the boat during this warm and humid passage. It is worth it's weight in gold I shall say.
