417nm done so far 350nm to go to Gibraltar.
The night time watch was interesting with large cruise ships with hundreds of bright lights on them closing in on us from a distance.
Our Garmin nav system tells us how far they are away and calculates how close we pass - providing they don't suddenly change course! They, and some cargo ships passed by uneventfully.
The seas were very calm with little wind - it dropped to 0kts at one stage so we had a peaceful night.
Today has seen calm seas and little wind.
We've been visited by Dolphins and porpoises and another bird hitched a lift for an hour or two helping himself to any small flies he could find inside the canopies but ignoring the bread and water put out. He looked like a small starling but with very bright colour under his wings.
We've eaten very well again today, no scurvy broken out yet!!
It's a lovely evening - we can just see Formentera with the binoculars in the distance having passed by Ibiza earlier. It's an amazing sunset with no other boat in sight.
The weather forecast looks good again for tonight.
