Hi Folks,
Just a quick update before we leave for the Marquises Isles, mainly to put some photo’s up.
Santa Cruz didn’t turn out to be up to much, even though it’s
the main place in the Galapagos Islands – anyone else aiming to come here I would
suggest aiming for where we are now, Isabela (no that is the correct spelling). Santa Cruz was just like a tourist town, only positive point was that we could get food and wine in most resturants, unlike here where you get what they've got - all adds to the excitement??
So in a real chilled bar (photo attached), watching the sun go down with a group of Oyster friends and typing away having gulped down a couple of Caiprahina's waiting for our chinese lobster (appearantly it's a lobster with 2 tails - amazing this evolution here, so conveniant!
OK so photo's this time (may be in diferent order, but sure you can match title to picture):

So tomorrow we leave for the Marquises Isles a 3000+ mile trip for which we need to try to gt there for 8th April in order to get a fuel fill-up (although may be dry if we don't get the weather!). Beforehand we're inland as have found a farm that does gormet food (killed oin the farm we think) - um Nelius our crew has already come down with food poisening from eating chicken in a local food market in Santa Cruz (bless).
OK lobster up time to go. We'll keep you posted during the trip, though probably will be light on photo's due to limited bandwidth / cuz we're chilling
