Time to move on!

Had last night at Hideaway restaurant in Marigot Bay (see trip advisor) and
yet again a super meal and great ambiance, made better by after diner drinks
with crew from Proteus.

So spent 1/2 the morning trying to email stuff at the local coffee shop
overlooking the inner marina - lovely setting but totally wasted by
absolutely appalling service - not even sure the waitresses were on the same
planet!

Eventually slipped mooring at about 11am for the trek to Bonaire into a good
15-18kt SE wind, so flying along, may even shave 8hrs of our anticipated 3
day sail (um let's see).

Had the rod out to test our new trawling reel and with a couple of hours had
a bite - a BIG Mahi Mahi, approx 80cm long, so had a battle to reel it
in........ managed to get it within about 4m of the yacht and the bugger got
away (no really, not a fisherman's tail!) - would have made a good few
dinners!

So just trying to get into our shift system - still experimental with just 2
of us on-board, starting with 3hrs on 3hrs off overnight and free and easy
during the day, we'll see.

All being well going to learn to dive and get my open water padi certificate
and maybe do a bit of reef diving - Bonaire is supposed to be 3rd best
diving place in the world, so looking forward to that!!
