Hi everybody!

We are nicely tucked up on a bouy in Baie Tapuamu on the beautiful island of Tahaa, opposite Bora Bora, where we shall go early next week to prepare to leave the end of the week and sail over to Tonga which should take 7/8 days. We have all so enjoyed French Polynesia and island hopping but are looking forward to a longer passage.
Today the guys took me on a mega snorkel, drifting down a very long channel amongst all the fish and spectacular colours of coral and clams (these come with purple, bright blue or green "lips"), definitely going there again before we leave here. We have a hire car for tomorrow to see the rest of the island rather than move Ayesha from here as good mooring buoys are very scarce. This might be a tiny island but two coastal freighters come in each day and one of them (150 feet long) comes in, spins round, reverses to the quay, ties up at the stern but just uses auxilliary engines to keep square and off the quay, it is very impressive to watch.

Hope this finds you all well.
