Second day of our passage from The Galapagos to The Marquesas.
Yesterday we managed to sail most of the time in light winds pretty much exactly in the direction we want to go. Amazing amount of marine wildlife on the way, with whales and sea lions and dozens of huge black rays leaping/spinning/somersaulting in and out of the water. Wind died in the small hours of this morning and we have since then motored/sailed (main and genoa)/wallowed a bit/sailed (poled out genoa only)swell has increased so passage is quite rolly at present but at least we are still sailing! Wind angle is tantalisingly close to being good enough for the twin headsails which will be great, so much more comfortable for all.
Watch system now up and running with 3 hours on and 9 hours off albeit at present with frequent changes to sail wardrobe we are all up and about most of the time. Majority of the fleet are still in Galapagos planning to leave over the weekend.

Happy Easter to you all.
