Good morning from the Pacific Ocean!
We left Panama yesterday at midday having been delayed by some paperwork formalities and so we decided to miss out Las Perlas and head straight for the Galapagos as we know winds are going to be light. Excellent sailing so far using our new twin headsail set up until a few hours ago when course and wind dictated a change of sail plan. The twin headsails were very stable and easily controlled producing over half wind speed in very light airs, this bodes particularly well for our long passage to the Marquesas. Have had several sightings of whales and last night a school of porpoises some 70 in number!
