Wednesday 4th November: A Coruña

Still here as the wind is forecast to be from the south for a day or three yet, and quite strong. It also rained hard all afternoon but we went and found a very good chandler who let us manage in Spanish with good humour and corrected us when it was too far off (we needed a 32A electric plug and a couple of shackles to re-route the jack-stays outside the shrouds so they don't foul the yankee sheet tracks).

‘Maybe’ off the Lizard.
90’ long with at least 8 people aboard. She was a little slower than us but carried on 15 miles or so down the Spanish coast.

Nor were several of his friends who didn’t stay long but carried on fluttering towards the south only 3’ above the sea.
