We left Clifton as planned first thing in the morning and sailed south to Grenada. The weather looked quite stormy when we left but we managed to dodge most of the rain showers and actually the trip was not at all rough, which was great for Oliver. He managed to sleep for over two hours during the only significant inter island passage when there was a bit of swell and waves so he avoided being sick. It wa sgood to see Grenada again seven years after our last boat was written off in the hurricane here. It looks like there has been a lot of regeneration. We arrived at the brand new Port Louis marina in the capital St George’s and of course spent over an hour dealing with customs and immigration. It is very quiet in the marina and was nice to sleep soundly with no worries about anchors and no rolling or wind and wave noise. There is a road fairly close but that was no problem – possibly because we were all a bit tired by now. We plan to stay in the marina for a while now and have a relaxing break.
