After a couple of last minute delays to build a new bracket for the new (larger) outboard that didn’t fit the old bracket, we are ready to leave Rodney Bay. We plan to have a very short sail south down the coast of St Lucia to Marigot Bay where we will visit a recommended restaurant and the lovely beach. Then we plan to move on to Soufriere further down the coast and anchor near the Pitons – the iconic twin peaks that feature in most views of St Lucia and also on the flag of St Lucia - before setting out for Bequia, an island just south of St Vincent and part of the St Vincent and the Grenadines group of islands.
The last few days have been a bit hectic with trying to get the boat ready after a month in the marina and finally getting engine and fridge work done by others )and finishing the jobs that we had put off while we enjoyed Rodney Bay!).
