Another day of motoring, mostly light headwinds, to the westernmost point of Sicily. Stopped in a large bay at Castellamare. Considering the weather, we have made good progress across Sicily with our long days of motorsailing against the winds.

Tommorrow (Friday 9th Sep) we will leave for Sardinia - a 36 hour sail (or motor!). The weather outlook is good - meaning no strong headwinds but no great sailing either. The 5 day outlook is good for our run all the way the Majorca and mainland Spain, but this could change quickly so we will make as much progress as possible while we can.
