Another very settled and pleasant 24 hours with light winds and slight seas. Only have enough sail up to keep us going around the 5 to 6kts to keep on track for an arrival tomorrow morning. The previous noon-to-noon run (which I forgot to add yesterday) was 121 miles and the latest noon-to-noon run was 154 Miles. Strictly that's not true as we adjusted the clocks. Due to the SSB net times we decided to keep the boat time at CKT (Cocos Keeling time) and made the adjustment to local time yesterday evening by putting the clocks back 2 1/2 hours. So the 154 miles was in 26.5 hours, the equivalent of about 140 miles in 24 hours. The time in Mauritius is UTC+4, so just 3 hours ahead of the UK (on BST). That's going to take some getting used to. We've been around 12 hours ahead for such a long time (years!) we've become used to it, especially being able to call the UK in the evenings. As I write we have just 76 miles to go.
