Saturday.  Left Riga at 7pm, after refuelling for a 100 mile night passage to Kuressaare on Saaremaa Island in Estonia. Quite lumpy at first, which tested the crew, but eventually a favourable wind set in and we were able to switch off the engine and spend the morning sailing.

Sunday.  Estonian Border Guard rib came alongside to find out our destination and led us in to Kuressaare for a very friendly check over, including an alcohol breath test for the skipper.  Luckily tea does not register!
Kuressaare is a pretty place with a medieval castle and nice beaches with busty girls playing beach volley ball, not that the crew noticed this!

The big attraction for us was a 4000 year old meteorite crater at Kaali, 150 metres across, with big mossy earth banks where the debris was thrown and a green pool at the centre. Out came the Bromptons, but it was further than we expected, so we arrived back at the boat 25 miles later with rather sore bums.  Early to bed tonight with no alarms, sleep in as long as we like, what luxury.
