MURTER  Sunday 18th August

We motored the whole way in a flat sea with a very light breeze on the nose for much of the journey – the wind finally veered to the west and increased to around force 3 but too late for us to get a sail!

On arrival we had a chat with China Blue on the VHF and on their advice anchored near to them. It was an excellent spot – quite near to the shore and just off the small ship repair yard on the opposite side of the bay (starboard side) from the marina. We were able to get ashore the following morning in the dinghy at the head of the bay in front of a large Kozum supermarket and it was only a 5 minute walk to the centre of the town and the fruit and vegetable stalls all in all a very good place to anchor. Thanks Tony!

Later on Monday Jacky was able to log on and book her tickets for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games as the wifi signal was excellent. Next stop will be Prvic  we think.
