Best wishes to all!

Today we tried to calibrate the auto pilot, we motored from the pier to the center of the bay and made the usual circle to calibrate the pilot.

I think the pilot is working but the confirmation message from the computer didn’t come. So we may have to steer all the way to Antarctica. In case there is wind there is no problem we are all willing to steer but

If there is a calm and we motor this can get very boring especially if there is fog, which very often in these waters.

The weather has dropped now and we are waiting for another cold front which should pass by 18:00 hrs. Then We plan to start our voyage to Cape Horn then cross the Drake Passage.

Here is summer time, at this latitude  the sun is up at 04:50 and goes down at 22:00, the more south we go the longer the day.

Life inside the cabins is very pleasant but when you get p in the morning there is condensation due to the temperature difference of the outside and the inside.

The ladies are preparing arepa (pancake made from precooked corn flour used for polenta) cooked in the frying pan it is split when ready  in two and filled with ham cheese or pate like a sandwich.

A very nice tomato cucumber salad on the side.

We exchanged ideas and experiences from our blogs and information about different communication solutions on board.

To my friend Dimitris F., they all here know you by now Dimitri I read them your mails and I may read to them the old  funny mails you had sent me during the Transatlantic crossing.

Your “griniaris” friend is very relaxed especially now that I am not in command of the boat.
