Treasure point snorkelling

So, with our Tattoos still intact (! any suggestions on how long they will take to wear off- bearing in mind washing on this boat is something of a rarity) the Pikey family hit treasure point (just out of the Bight, Norman Island) and had a spectacular snorkel though caves and along the rock face. The sun was shining and the colours underwater were spectacular. The variety of fish and plant life was huge. Arthur had his gear on, so could see really well and Alice went on her body board with the window in it. She could see the bigger, brighter fish (parrot fish especially) but Douglas needs to take it apart to clean so that she can see the smaller fish. We saw huge Parrot fish, and the colours are so vibrant. I think it looks like they are wearing face paint as their eyes are lined in bright green. Swimming into the caves was certainly out of my comfort zone but I had Alice egging me on to go in. She has a great deal of gumption! Once inside, the underwater rocks are covered in a purple bloom which is some kind of coral. This has been the best snorkel so far.
