Dear Family & Friends, Vicki Here......After our dear sailing friends, Rich and Barb departed, Mike and I prepared to host a Boat Open House at noon on July 7th for his Irish relatives.   The boat was still  "dressed" with flags from the 4th of July so it looked very festive.  We were 25 adults and 5 children under the age of 5yrs.  It was a happy gathering and so much to catch up on.  Despite the crowded conditions and having to wear life jackets, the kids seemed to have a great time.  We left the boat at 2:30 and gathered in the Kinsale Yacht Club dining room for a buffet lunch.  It was a beautiful warm sunny day and the party spilled out onto the deck.  We said our goodbyes about 6:30 and plan to meet in Glin, County Limerick , for the Glin festival, Aug. 11th.  Amy will be joining us (Matt with the help of his mom will be holding down the home front) for a week of sailing and visiting the family in Glin.
